Two Paths—Two Destinations
“Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”
—Matthew 7:13

Advertisers know we’re more likely to buy a product if they can convince us that everyone else uses it. “If everyone else is using it, then it must be good, and I ought to buy it”—or so they hope we’ll say to ourselves.

But on a far more serious matter, this is what Satan hopes you will say to yourself. “Look at the way most people are living,” he whispers in our ear. “They’re having a good time—enjoying life, living for themselves, absorbed in the moment, not bothering about God or eternity. Follow them—that’s the path to real life!” But it is a lie. Jesus warned that it will lead only to destruction and hell.

Jesus calls us to take another path—His path. Yes, it may be harder, and far fewer take it. But it alone offers us true peace and joy—the kind that can come only from knowing God. And it alone leads to eternal life and heaven. On which path are you? Don’t let another day go by without Christ.
Wisdom for Today

It takes boldness and faith, Lord, to choose the narrow and less-traveled path. But we do just that because we believe that You are the only way, and we trust that Your Word is truth. Help us remain faithful to the path we’ve chosen.
