Kingdom Living Christian Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Bob & Bobbie Cook
Founding Pastors
ABOUT OUR PASTORS:
on a personal note:
They married June 2,1979. Before going into full time ministry, Bob owned and operated Alpha and Omega Financial services and Pro Sport Collectables. Bobbie managed the Oasis Radio Network for many years. They have two adult sons and two young grandsons.
Bob attended Norval Hayes School in Cleveland Tenn. and the fire of God was ignited in him to win souls and teach and feed the needy. Under Gods direction he launched several food ministries that are still in operation today. In 1999 they was offered a position to move to Missouri and work for the ministry of Joyce Meyer, however they opted out and moved to Broken Arrow OKlahoma to secure a position with Rhema Bible Church and to attend Rhema Bible College.Where they are both presently licensed and ordained
After returning to Canton Ohio. Together they founded His Place 4 U ministries where they ministered the word and fed the hungry for over 14 years. As an extension of the church they established a Christian cafe' that was open to the public. During the Covid Pandemic God sent Bob & Bobbie to Emmanual Christian which is now under their leadership and the new name Kingdom Living Christian Church.
Pastor Bob's strength and passion is teaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God to grow a strong healthy body of believers.
Bill Parsons
Associate Pastor
Pastor Bill is a husband, father of 4, and 12 grands. He is an author, Bible Teacher, and musician. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Malone University in organizational management . Pastor Bill along with his wife Pam of 38 years minister in song and teaching marriage seminars and financial stewardship. In addition they are the founders of " We Believe Agency" Pastor Bill also oversees the men’s fellowship at KLCC and often shares the word from the pulpit. He brings to us over 30 years’ experience in ministry. We thank God for bringing Pastor Bill and Pam to come alongside us, and doing ministry together.
Phyllis Davidson
Assistant to Pastors
Phyllis oversees any and all needs of the church at the pastors request. She is a get it done lady, She is willing to serve and help where and when needed. Phyllis loves flowers. She is a mother of 3 grown children and a 10 grand & 22 greats. She loves to cheer on her grands at their ball games. Phyllis has a deep love and relationship with the Lord. Two of her favorite scriptures are: Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 103:1-5 Phyllis also serves on the Board of Advisers to the Pastors.
Theresa Graves
Worship Leader
Theresa along with her husband Dan came to KLCC and brought their gift of music to the congregation. Theresa sings and directs the worship team with a spirit of love and excellence. One of Theresa's favorite scriptures is:
Psalm 37:4 & 5
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Worship Leader
Denise Schneider
Denise sings and directs as she plays keyboard and worships the Lord. As she worships, God uses her to bring others into the presence of God. She has written songs that have come directly from Heaven and shares them with the congregation.
Valicia Peterson
Pre-Teen Teacher
Val is a young vibrant 19 year old young lady. She loves Jesus, and helping young people grow a passion for Christ. Val is very artistic and brings her gift to the class room. She also owns 4 Husky dogs that she adores.. She is a hard worker and her full time job is in landscaping.
She is a wonderful addition to KLCC and we thank God for what she brings to the ministry. God has a great future for her.
Jan Smerz
Secretary and Children's Teacher
Jan is involved in the ministries at Kingdom Living Christian Church. As a child she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Filled with the Holy Ghost in her later years, Jan has given her life to serving the Lord. Jan was born and raised in Stark County and is a graduate of Fairless High School. Jan has one adult daughter and a granddaughter and a grandson. She loves to teach children and share the love of God in stories and music. Jan says, “Children need to know that they are important and that they are loved.” Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Jan also serves on the Board of Advisers to the Pastors.
Jerrie Define
Finance
Jerrie was born into a military family at Hamilton Field AFB outside Petaluma with two older sisters and one older brother. Jerrie and her family moved often because of her fathers military assignments. Jerrie says, ”The day after President John Kennedy was assassinated, is the day her family left for Ohio, and moved to Navarre. After graduation, Jerrie met and married the love of her life, her “second rock”, Bob Define. Jerrie and Bob raised two sons and one daughter. Jerrie is retired from the Village of Navarre and Nickles Bakery Thrift Store.
Jerrie enjoys researching her ancestry, reading history, reading her Bible, and her monthly meetings with Daughters of the American Revolution. Jerrie says, “I cannot remember a time in my life that Jesus Christ has not been a part of it. Jesus is my “first rock”. He has always been there for me to help me through the good times and well as the bad. I believe He always answers my prayers. Sometimes, not in the way I am hoping for them to be answered, but what turns out to be the best way. I cannot imagine my life without Jesus in it.
"Her favorite verse is John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
