Daily Devotions
Throughout the trials and tribulations of our everyday lives, one thing is for certain: God's promise. When we are feeling feeble and helpless, we can rely on the reassurance of his comfort in your faith and remember that God is always with you. Log on daily and join us as we receive inspiration for the day, and leave a comment.

Step Into the Light
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
As long as you live by the Word of God, you never have to be in the dark again. You never have to remain in confusion about which path to take. You never have to grope blindly along, struggling to find your own way.
Isn't that great? Isn't it exciting to know that the Word of God will give you all the light you need every day of your life if you'll allow it to?

We're Winning
Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.
- Numbers 14:9
Thousands of years ago, God told the children of Israel to go up and occupy the land that He had given them. He told them to take it, by force and without fear, from the ungodly ones who were dwelling there.
He's still saying that today. God is still trying to get us, as

Be Separate
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
- 2 Corinthians 6:17
We're surrounded by a world which is ruled for the most part by Satan. How can we avoid getting caught up in it? How can we stand apart?
You'll find the answer in John 17:17. There Jesus was speaking to the Father about all those who would believe on Him. "Sanctify them through thy truth," He says. "Thy word is truth.

Don't Let Your Faith Slip
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
- Hebrews 2:1
Something very serious has been happening to the Body of Christ. We've often let the things which we have heard—the message of faith and righteousness—slip.
I'm not just talking about those believers who've been so surrounded by religion that they've never heard about the power that's theirs in Christ Jesus. I'm t

Feast on the Word
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
- Matthew 4:4
The Word of God is to your spirit as bread is to your body. When your body feeds on physical food, it produces a physical power called strength. When your spirit feeds on the spiritual food of the Word, it produces spiritual power called faith. And just as you can't eat one meal and then feed on the memory of it for several weeks, you can't just rememb

God’s Household“[You are] fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”—Ephesians 2:19Someone with a wry sense of humor once described a church as a group of porcupines in a snowstorm: we need each other to keep warm, but the closer we get, the more we poke each other—and the more uncomfortable we become. But of course it shouldn’t be that way. A church should be a place of warmth and fellowship, a place where even the newest member or latest visitor...

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.(Rom. 4:21)
When the pastor said, “Amen,” I said in faith, “Thank God, it’s gone.” What does it mean to say something in faith? It means to call those things that be not as though they were. Many honest Christians are afraid to act because they don’t know what faith is.
Someone might ask, “Well, was the paralysis gone?”
“No, the right side of my face was still de

Leave the Past Behind
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 3:13-14
Spiritual bumps and bruises. Inner aches and pains that just don't seem to go away. Most all of us know what it's like to suffer from them but too few of us know just what to do about them.
We limp along, hoping somehow those hidden

Hope for Today, Hope for Eternity“I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.”—Philippians 1:23Her pain was more than physical. Over the years the crippling arthritis had taken its toll on her emotions as well, and now she was praying that God would take her to heaven. Was this prayer, she asked me timidly, wrong or even sinful?First of all (I reminded her), it is not a sin to long for heaven. If we know Jesus, we k...

Can Strangers See Jesus in You?
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
- Acts 4:13
How would you like to be so full of the glory of God that it's unmistakable to those around you? How would you like for people to be able to know just by looking at you that you'd been with Jesus? It's entirely possible if you are born again and fil

Nothing Is Too Hard!“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power. ... There is nothing too hard for You.”—Jeremiah 32:17Are there some things God cannot do? The answer may surprise you: yes, there are some things that God can’t do.God cannot, for instance, tell a lie or go back on His promises. Neither can He do something evil or have an impure thought. Why? Because God cannot do anything that is contrary to His basic character. Rememb...

Stay Out of the Driver’s Seat
But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father …].John 16:13 AmpA few years ago, the Lord gave me some instructions that have gone a long way toward keeping me on the right path in prayer. He said, “Keep a loose hold on your own thinking and understandi

Answers To Prayer Guaranteed
“And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”
(1 John 5:15 NASB)If you were absolutely certain that God was listening to you each time you prayed, would it change what you asked Him for? God hears us when we ask according to His will, which is His Word. Now this verse says that when He hears us we get the requests we have desired of Him. This is a powerful statement and is absolu...

Serving God“Take careful heed ... to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”—Joshua 22:5What comes to mind when you hear the phrase “serving God”?Maybe you think of missionaries or pastors. Maybe you think of qualifications like seminary training, or a holy life, or a solid knowledge of God’s Word. Or maybe you think of people who are younger and healthier than you, or older and more experienced than you, as those God can use most effectively. But listen: God...

Nothing to Lose
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Have you ever been afraid to give yourself totally to the Lord because you think you might be deprived of some pleasure in this life? Chances are, you have. That's because Satan is working overtime to convince you that he can really make your life w
