Many believers spend their lives asking God to give them what He has already placed inside them. But the moment you begin to understand who you are in Christ, your prayers change. You stop praying from a place of fear and lack, and you begin speaking from a place of faith and authority. You are not trying to become victorious. Through Jesus, victory is already your position.

This week, make the decision to live conscious of Christ in you. Whatever you are facing, do not measure it by your own strength or ability. See it through the reality of the One who lives inside you. You are not alone, you are not powerless, and you are not waiting for heaven to respond. The life, power, and presence of Jesus are already at work within you.
