There are mornings when the weight of the week hasn't even started, and I'm already tired. Maybe you know that feeling.
1 Peter 1:3-5 has been on my mind lately, and I keep coming back to it: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
That word "guarded" caught my attention.
You are not holding yourself together by willpower. You are being guarded by the power of God Himself through every hard conversation, every Sunday you weren't sure you had anything left to give.
The inheritance doesn't spoil. The hope doesn't fade. And the One who called you is still holding you. Lead from that place today.
