Act 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

When speaking on the day of Pentecost I often emphasize " they were all with one accord"  However as I was reading this morning it was as if the words "one place" jumped off the page.  Their is something to be said about the assembling of ourselves together in one place that invites the presence of the Lord.

Mat 18:20  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Heb 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
